Joseph Cavanaugh
Vice President and General Manager
Joe has over 20 years of experience at CMC. Prior to his current role as Vice President and General Manager, Geopier, he served as Vice President of Innovation for CMC, laying the groundwork for the company's innovation program. Before this role, he held various leadership positions in the Tensar division, including Executive Vice President of Technology, where he focused on innovation and the development of lnterAx geogrid products. He also served as Vice President and General Manager for the EMEA region, as well as Vice President of Global Technology.
Joe's extensive background includes experience in marketing, construction, and engineering management with various companies, such as Keller and Schnabel Foundation Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from North Carolina State University and is a registered professional engineer in multiple states. Outside of work, Joe enjoys mountain biking, playing guitar, and traveling.
