Rodney grew up in North Pole, a small town near Fairbanks, Alaska. As a child, he had a unique school assignment: answering Christmas letters from children around the world. After high school, Rodney studied civil engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. In 2016, Rodney completed his doctoral studies at the University of Oklahoma. From 2017 to 2024, he worked in consulting in Oklahoma City, OK, and Birmingham, AL.
