Roy Doumet

Roy Doumet, P.E. is a Regional Sales Engineer for Geopier®, overseeing Northern and Central California, including the Sacramento area. With extensive expertise in ground improvement techniques, Roy specializes in the design and implementation of Rammed Aggregate Piers and liquefaction mitigation strategies. His focus is on delivering cost-effective and technically sound solutions for a wide range of geotechnical challenges.

Roy holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering. His academic background complements his hands-on experience, which spans over 10 years in geotechnical engineering, including project management, field support, and the design of innovative ground improvement systems.

In his role at Geopier, Roy collaborates with project teams to provide customized ground improvement solutions and actively engages with industry professionals through workshops, technical presentations, and conferences. His expertise in geotechnical engineering, combined with his deep knowledge of soil behavior and structural support, allows him to play a key role in advancing ground improvement technology in California.
