Pivaltec S.A. team installed RAPs using the Geopier Impact system to improve foundation soil of the approach embankment of the Briceno bridge, Province of Manabi. During the Muisne earthquake in Ecuador on April 16, 2016, the liquefaction phenomenon was effectively mitigated and increased embankment global stability.
Leonardo aims to assist in improving sites in Ecuador using Geopier solutions for Intermediate Foundation support.
He has experience in business development, project management, ground improvement design, and construction support. Leonardo holds a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE, a MBA from IDE Business School, and Geotechnical Engineering of CEDEX Spain.
